Who are we? St. Philomena’s is a small, independent Primary and Montessori pre-school. It was founded in 1863 and caters for both boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 12. The school is situated on the South Circular Road in Limerick city and it is the only private primary school in the mid-west region. We are a member of A.I.J.S ‘Association of Independent Junior Schools’. Why choose St. Philomena's?Choosing the right school environment is fundamental to your child’s future development. At St. Philomena’s we offer a friendly, caring atmosphere where everyone knows each other. This gives each child a feeling of security and a sense of belonging. We believe this to be a great foundation upon which children can develop and fulfil their unique potential and helps them grow into self-confident and well rounded individuals. What makes us different?
